Meetings & Programs
Fairfax Ferns Garden Club has eight general attendance meetings a year. Meetings are usually held the second Monday of the month from September to June beginning at 6:30 p.m. These meetings start with an interesting program or an activity, and proceed with the business meeting. Programs are organized around an annual theme and cover a wide variety of subject categories including:

Fairfax Ferns holds an annual Soup and Salad Holiday Party in December with an ornament exchange, as well as a Twelfth Night Party with spouses, guests, and former members in January. Other events and tours outside the normal annual calendar are organized from time to time.

Every two years club members plan, stage, and present a Flower Show in which members competitively exhibit flower designs and horticulture specimens. The flower show is also typically organized around a theme. It promotes interest in gardening and floral design, provides education for the members and the public.
